SBC Presentation Dinner Marks End of Summer Season.

The annual Presentation Dinner marked the last event of the Summer season for SBC and the presentation of the awards for the season. Dave Goodman was amongst the presenters along with our guest Mark Broadway, shown opposite.  More photos here.

Bowls by Candlelight End Season.

SBC summer season closed with a candlelit match. A hardy group of bowlers tried their hand at bowling in the dark, stared at the full moon, and prayed that no light aircraft landed on the green. Photos here.

Friar Tuck Drawn Pairs.

Twenty members competed in this year's Friar Tuck Drawn Pairs. John McMurren organised the event and even the weather co-operated (sort of). Photos here.

Shoreham Masters.

This year's Master competition saw 20 members contesting for the title, which was presented by the organiser John McMurren, shown here. 

Celebration of club's 90th Birthday.

The 10th September 2023 saw the celebration of 90 years since the Shoreham Bowling Club was set up. Past members and invited guests met to celebrate the occasion, and current members played a friendly match against a Sussex County team. The afternoon "rolled-off" with a Spider, the entry fees going to a charity of the County President's choosing.

SBC Singles League Results.

The final results of the Members Singles League are now available. Thanks to Bob Page for running the League.

Adur Top Team 2023.

SBC Win Overall Trophy at this years event.

A great day for the club and the members who played in the Adur Top Team today at Southwick. Congratulations to Barbara Velardo and Brenda Page for winning the ladies pairs; to Dave Hoggen and Bob Page on being runners-up in the mens pairs (only missing out on ends won). SBC were also runners-up in two other competitions, which gave Shoreham Bowls Club Overall Winners, so more silverware! Well done to everyone who took part.

SBC at Ladies Invitational

SBC Team A were runners-up in the final at this year's tourn'y. Well done to all ladies in the two teams entered. Southwick Park Bowling Club hosted a Ladies invitation tournament which was sponsored by Pembroke Financial Services Ltd. Thanks to everyone that took part from SBC.

An SBC four-some ran out winners at the 2023 Woodingdean Invitation for the second year.
